USP:
  • No new telephone module or new mobile-phone holder required when changing mobiles - provided Bluetooth® SAP is supported
  • Control of all functions via on-board control units (multifunction steering wheel, audio system and central instrument cluster display)
  • The form and dimensions of the Mercedes-Benz telephone modules match those of the mobile phone holders for the pre-installation for mobile phone with universal interface or, in model series 204, "convenience telephony" (Code 386)
  • Access to the contact data saved on the SIM card and also in the phone's memory
  • No antenna radiation from mobile phone inside car
  • Simple to fit and remove: the Mercedes-Benz telephone modules can be connected to the on-board system plug (in the centre armrest) without the aid of tools and are equally simple to remove
  • Fashion and image associations
  • No factory modifications to vehicle with associated extra costs
  • Despite Bluetooth connection only low power consumption by mobile, as mobile phone is switched to "standby mode" after pairing
Feature:
  • When a SIM card is inserted into the SIM card reader, Bluetooth® connection to a mobile phone is no longer possible
  • Making phone calls, looking for a number, checking call lists, reading text messages - all are conveniently carried out via the multifunction steering wheel, the audio system and the central instrument cluster display.
  • Which means you don't need to move your mobile phone between your jacket pocket and an in-car holder - so there's less risk of inadvertently leaving it behind in the car.
  • 1. In the form of a closed box
  • Two versions of the Mercedes-Benz Bluetooth® (SAP) telephone module are available:
  • Up to 4 mobile phones can be paired(*) with the Bluetooth® (SAP) telephone module
  • 2. With a passive, corded handset
  • The Mercedes-Benz Bluetooth® (SAP) telephone module is a telephone adapter which is designed to be connected to the pre-installation for mobile phone with universal interface or, in model series 204, "convenience telephony" (Code 386).
  • The handset version also offers a Privacy mode (passengers can't hear the other caller). And you avoid the radiation emitted by your mobile phone.
  • The Bluetooth® (SAP) telephone modules are designed to extend the mobile communication system in your Mercedes-Benz. Just plug them into the pre-installation for mobile phone in the centre armrest, or "convenience telephony" in model series 204, and start using your mobile via the on-board hands-free system. You can leave your mobile phone in your jacket pocket. Once you have paired the telephone module with your Bluetooth® SAP mobile phone, it automatically recognises the device.
  • The SIM card's PIN number is stored
  • Both versions feature Bluetooth® (SAP) technology and a SIM card reader.
