boxes and ski and snowboard racks (New Alustyle). Their design is
precision-tailored to the GL-Class and accentuates its agile looks in an
individual, powerful way. The combination of high-quality aluminium
tubular bars and plastic end caps is thoroughly compelling. Unladen
weight: 6.2 kg. Load capacity: 90 kg (bear in mind max. permissible roof
load). Max. usable width: 1135 mm. Locking mechanism for peace of mind.

Please note: the New Alustyle bicycle rack and the Alustyle bicycle rack cannot be used in conjunction with the crossbars! There are no plans to introduce an adapter which would allow this. If customers plan to fit a bicycle rack, please advise them to use the GL-Class basic carrier bars. If customer wishes to fit New Alustyle ski and snowboard rack, Comfort (B6 685 1703), an adapter (B6 687 0115) is required. Please note that the crossbars do not offer the same compatibility with the transport and leisure accessories as the universal basic carrier bars! Retrofit product from following optional extra package: NAFTA optional extra Code SU89 (Off-Road Styling package). This Code includes chrome simulated underguard, front and rear, in addition to the crossbars - which are black for V8 models and chrome for V8+ models, to match the roof rails. - X164 (08/09- )
